We use this to our supply line to the refrigerator …
I have a 3 / 8 poly lines with adapter 1 / 4, ice and water to feed to my fridge right hook for me.
I have this installed in the basement, where the line 3 / 8 comes from the copper lines, so it is easy access for filter changes.

Our refrigerator has built a very small filter, but in theThe filters are $ 30-40 animals each and half the size and duration of filter life!
This gives me another option in the refrigerator without having to buy water filters filtered crazy prices hold.

I replaced the filter with a reverse osmossis. I was replacing the filter when water flow was slow, tired. I was on a municipal water system and he was simply trying to clean up a bit and improve the taste. I use the water to take taste with the Culligan US-600-filter system and now I'm just happy to replace a filter, if dirty. I have a lot more space under the sink without the old filter system and storage tank.

Everything sucks with compression fittings. I spent 2 days fixing leaking compression fittings, after all leaks have been fixed, the filter does not work OK. And do not notice much difference in taste if I replace the filter, I'll try, "D" will be May 30 to make a difference. Just out of the box, I would not recommend this filter was blocked.
