We have used these filters for years and in the recent past, they have improved life. In our region, water sometimes develops an unpleasant odor, and we get a lot of crap when hydrants are flushed. Paragon filter ensures these problems very well. The base unit itself hooks up quickly and does not take much space, does not expire and is very valuable for the price. Highly recommended!
